Red Barn
It seems that many of the Barns and Farm Houses here in New Jersey are painted in this particular color red.

Sieht aus, wie das schwedische"Falunröd", das man dortselbst immer wieder sehen kann. Diese Scheune hat eine gewaltige Höhe, wird die Ernte dort eingelagert ? Heu Stroh usw ?
Genug Schnee habt Ihr für diesen Winter bekommen, hier kommen die Krokusse bereits raus, es ist warm bei 6° C, Frühjahrszeit !
Ich hätte den Abstand zur Scheune etwas größer gehalten, so ist es gewaltig hoch heraus gekommen. (Nur mein Empfinden)

a red that is so attractive - we have it all over Canada too .... and this rural scene in the snow and curtained by the bare trees is so idyllic and picturesque - and a perfect illustration for a "CountryLiving" magazine :-)fine work indeed !!
