I have been in Annecy in 1977 as a student, for one month, during a summer language course. I never thought i would visit the place again. Very glad for this.

and it's a little as though your happiness of "a place revisited" is floating and hovering all about this colorful little town, too – "annecy", even the name sounds light and jolly to my ears! what a beautiful place, cityscape and picture of it, nick! love how you not only captured the old stone tower with the water flowing around at both sides, but also the sidewalks with the adjoinging cafés. a great place for flaneurs! greetings, sabine.

yes, a wonderful old clean and typical
ambiente and in the middle of the water-road
a middle-age ship or a caravelle, fighting against
the friendly floods of a peacefully little river.
