tired eyes in a face that that once must have been angry rather than sad. a face whose lines indicate that at some point in his life this man railed against his fate. but the anger has long evaporated and left his face exhausted: lines pointing downwards no longer resisting gravity, no longer fighting back with a smile… all he has to do now is release his grip and find peace with the world. maybe then the smile will return. stream of consciousness on my part… ; )) great portrait, dinu! greetings, sabine.
