amazing picture Jim.
Wrong section though, unless there is something I don't see in the picture :-)

Jim McKinniss, 14.01.2007 at 1:59h

Thanks Martin.

I mistakenly posted it in Nudes and have fixed this now.

I like the foggy mood, and also the chance to discover some nice details (like the trash can).

Sergio Pessolano, 14.01.2007 at 10:52h

Really a not usual image: clever use of the perspective layers improved by the misty BG. Perfect grayscale.

Ist ja wirklich ein einzigartiges Stimmungsbild von großer Raumtiefe und gutem Schärfenverlauf ! ! !
Schöne Grüße

The different layers and grades of grey work very well.
I miss something ( like a lonely early morning stroller or something ) to further emphesize the lonliness and tranquility.

Dave Donaldson, 15.01.2007 at 14:20h

That is brilliant the layers are superb well done and welcome to FC

Sarah Kiefer, 16.01.2007 at 7:27h

a touch top heavy, but i love the corporeality of the overhead limbs all the same. just read that you originally posted in nudes by accident. almost seems fitting given the quality of the arms and legs overlaying the rest of the park in the fog before they fade and all the people come out for their sunny day lunch break. great image!

Jaime Crystal Maksoud, 16.01.2007 at 15:06h

wow this is beautiful, mystical, the tones of dark to light is magic !
nothing rong with this, its going in my favs !
welcome to FC

magic touch 2

Zoltán Farmosi, 19.01.2007 at 19:45h

You solved the usual composition dilemma here with the branches. Probably the best spot. Like an upper frame. Good tonal range, too. The composition helps us see in three dimension, the fog adds the fourth one to this picture... Good one!

Paul Kasbacher, 20.01.2007 at 13:51h

wow...stark...eine klasse Stimmung

Calvin-Arkadius , 29.07.2007 at 15:25h

I dunno why I love this picture, Jim, but I think its the ghost effect, on which such effects I like in general.
*still staring and tries to find something behind the fog* :)

greets calvin
