Old & worn
A picture I took in Hälsingland in September, the part of Sweden where I was born.
I have not uploaded any pictures to FC since April. It appears as if the spring and summer seasons are for taking pictures and the fall and winter seasons for processing them. I cannot make up my mind about what photo site to focus on from now on. Last winter I was active on Fotocommunity, One Exposure and Fotoblur. That's at least one too many.
One Exposure has the best overall quality of picture thanks to the strict screening but the screening also means that I only rarely get a picture accepted. There are less snapshots and more interesting pictures on Fotoblur than on Fotocommunity but Fotocommunity is the site where I have had the most interaction with other members. A fourth alternative is the Swedish Fotosidan where you could get in touch with some people you may eventually get to meet IRL, but I don't know ....

… and missing some parts, but still keeping a watchful "eye" on us viewers – love how you succeeded in animating the dinosaur for us, making it look vividly alive, an eye-catcher rather than a junkyard atrocity! a great composition, too, with the low and strangely "intimate" viewpoint, the meadows and hills in the back, showing the dying machine in its "natural habitat" ; )), and that ingenious angle of the wheels, adding such great depth to the shot! like it very much! greetings, sabine.Andrew J.W. 23/10/2010 9:11
