At the Station

The Pacific Central railway station in Vancouver .... where my husband left late in the evening for a 3 nights, 2 1/2 days train ride from Vancouver to Toronto (about 5000 km) - access to the platform is only for travellers, so I had to wave to him and take my photo through the glass door !!!

Das sieht schon im Vorschaubild sehr spannend aus Adele und hat Erinnerungen geweckt. Zweimal war die Stadion von Montreal aus mein Ziel. Zweimal drei Nächte und zwei Tage hat die Fahrt jeweils gedauert. Es war faszinierend Canada aus dieser Sicht zu erkunden. Danke für das Bild Adele.

Auch durch die Glastür ist dir noch eine sehr schöne Aufnahme gelungen. So ein Abschied hat immer etwas trauriges an sich, auch wenn es nur für ein paar Tage ist.

It puts the passangers in the mood for this journey.
Your husband makes such a long journey by train.

a blue futuristic world! great shot of it! i'm amazed, though, they won't let people say good-bye to their loved ones on the platform – takes a lot of the wistful charisma of a train station away… hope you didn't get the blues from all the nocturnal, underwater colors, and from having to watch your husband board the train from far away! that looong west-to-east trip by train sounds like a great adventure!! hugs, sabine.

Das ist ja sehr interessant. Ich meine, daß Dein Ehemann diese Eisenbahnstrecke befährt. Ich als Eisenbahnfan würde da gerne mal mitfahren.
