Curly deciduous vine with edible berries, which are used as a stimulant and tonic with physical exhaustion, to prevent fatigue. Increases visual acuity, treats diabetes, bronchitis, gastro-intestinal diseases, increases the pressure, etc.
Stems and roots used in the form of tea. The berries make the juice, tincture, or simply dried.
It grows in the Far East. And we have grown in gardens.
