At the gates of Verdon
I took this photograph in spring 2013 in Rougon in southern France while hiking the GR4. Rougon is a wonderful small village right at the gates of the Grand Canyon of Verdon (Gorges du Verdon). From here you can also hike into the canyon itself which I highly recommend. The scenery is truely stunning.
