Connecting Europe - I -
A container hotshot on it´s way from Rotterdam to Switzerland,
powered all the way under the catenary by an ERS-Railways Class 66 diesel-electric, seen here on the "Main-Neckar-Bahn",
one of Germany´s busiest mainlines just north of Heidelberg, meeting a Frankfurt bound doubledecker semi-fast.
Nice comparison of profiles, the diesel boasting smaller British, the double decker normal "continental" profile.
I took the photo on cloudy but sunny July 25th, 2007, 2:28 h PM.
