Syncrude, the other "City" that never sleeps
Syncrude Mildred Lake Plant Site, late at night.
Highway 63, North of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
And that is NOT a beautiful lake in the foreground, it is one of many toxic, pungent, tailings ponds.
In 2008, more than 1600 ducks died after they landed on a toxic tailings pond at the site.

Gespenstisch sieht es aus, mit dem Qualm und dann noch deine Worte, dass das Wasser davor giftig ist...Aber eine sehr schöne Aufnahme, vom Bild her gefällt es mir sehr gut
