You certainly read the beginning and end of day light well, my friend. You have a great eye for nature's natural arrangement of complimentary colors (with a few additions by human hands) at these times of day, blue becomes red, lavender sky becomes lavender sea. It's a beautiful transition period for color temp, changes in atmospheric refraction and the resulting textural elements in the form of reflections and such. Add wind or the lack of it, and VOILA!
