The last stage in the life of a Welted Thistle.
After pollination and flowering is finished and before dying, plants produce a lot of seeds to secure the next generation of its species.
Seeds can be carried long distances by the wind.
Dutch name : Kruldistel
German name : Krause Distel
Latin name : Carduus crispus
