Keeper of the Light
This Bald Eagle welcomed us sitting on the red light at the harbour entrance. He has his nest in a large tree just outside of our marina and has raised two young ones this year. I have never been able to photograph the little family - the nest is so high up and well hidden.
I took this photo (as most of my sailing images) from our moving boat with my handheld little PowerShot.
