The Living Forest (252) : Wild Chives
Wild Chives is an edible perennial, native to Europe, Asia and North America (both flowers, leaves and stem are edible).
Chives has been cultivated in Europe since the Middle Ages.
Nowadays, it’s a commonly used herb and can be found in grocery stores or grown in home gardens.
As far as I know, there's only one single site in Belgium where chives still grows in the wild and....... I found that spot (forest of Odeigne).

German name : Wilden Schnittlauch
Latin name : Allium schoenoprasum
