Lunar Mountains
Photo of the moon snapped by me using my friends telescope and disgcam afocally (placing the camera lens on the eyepiece os the telescope and snapping away ) The large half circular area near the left is called The Sea of Rains (mare imbrium ) and its right rim is graced by the
Montes Apenninus mountain range and the Vallis Alpes (Alpine Valley).This photo was taken around the first quater phase and north is up in the image .
