The garwal himalayas are also called the Dev Bhumi which means "land of God" It truly is. The photographs here are of the Sudarshan peak the place of the goumukh glaciers from where the river Ganges originates, The other photograph is about the river meandering down the himalayas to come to the plains This part of the river Ganges is called the Bhagirathi
