JulienOn the digital negative the legs are not cut off. I had to crop this photo and shrink it doen to upload here, The original is 3072 x 2048 & 5MB.

The spider was about 3 to 3 1/2 inches in length. I live in Texas and this is not one of our bigger spiders either.
