oh, what a beauty! catching the late sunlight and looking like a furry little sun itself – amazing what details you succeeded in capturing!! the felt-like textures of the petals – wow! –, and the slightly darker yellow inside – wow, again! it reminds me of the kind of died sugar dough one decorates candy with! ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: guess what: i have a galia melon flower in a pot on my windowsill. raised it from a seed. amazingly enough, it's in bloom now. but i guess it won't ever bear melon fruit. we just don't have the climate for it, and my windowsill is too small!claudine capello 13/07/2014 11:00
