Excellent portrait as the unsharp background establishes the link to his profession. He looks worried and his face reflects the hardship of his life. He may be thinking about something. Holding his hands around the stick indicates a relaxed position despite his unhappy face. The colored turban is the highlight and attracks the observer's eyes.In six weeks I shall be in India as well.
