Erstaunlich, wie ein sonst nicht gerade aufreizender
Blick durch das Koennen eines Fotografen interessant und anschaulich gemacht werden kann. Der Gegensatz der zwei total verschiedenen Baustile hast du durch die Behandlung zum Positiven gemacht. You definitely made lemonade from a lemon! Und keine stuerzenden Linien! :-)

Hatte grosses Glueck dass ich gerade zum richtigen Zeitpunkt da war. Das Bild lebt auch vom Licht und der Farbe. Ein bisschen spaeter und ich haette Streiflicht auf der Highrise Fassade gehabt und die Kathedrale waere im Schatten versackt.
Deine zeitgleich aufgenommenen Blumenbilder aus Houston letztes Wochenende machen hierzu einen schoenen Kontrast.

Das gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Sehr gegensätzlich in Form, Architekur, Farbe und Höhe. Das graue Hochhaus wirkt richtig bedrohlich. Gut finde ich, daß noch Zeichnung im Hochhaus ist. Unten hätte ich das Bild etwas beschnitten, um die große schwarze Fläche etwas zu reduzieren.

mensch, bei so einem riesen bauwerk kann man ja fast angst bekommen :)
