i like the low point of view and how the festning appears to be protruding from its setting. don't know much about hdr techniques, but i usally don't like it, when they render the image artificial looking – extremely colorful and highly contrasted. it's not the case here! the only thing that bothers me just a little bit is the slight blur/ "softness" of the house. just a skosh sharper or more defined may be more convenient for the eye… kind regards, sabine.

Your experiment seems to have worked well. There is very good detail throughout the scene and the colours are very natural. Well done.:))
