The Middle Ages (2) : Executioner
This series is an attempt to illustrate how life was going on in the Middle Ages.
An executioner was very experienced in cutting off the head of a criminal with the axe.
Photographed at medieval festival of castle Franchimont, Belgium.
PS : What you see here is also my name....... !
Some explanation : an expert told me once that my family name means : "Man with axe".
So, here I am…….
