Cyclamen
Cyclamen produces dainty blooms from late winter to early spring and withstand the most severe frost problem-free.
This species is native to the mountains of Bulgaria, Turkey & Lebanon and the areas around the Black and Caspian Sea.

In Bulgaria you say? I thought they grew at the flower shops!:)And they they survive severe frosts? Hmm, if they are so resistant as you claim why don't they survive my watering them?:))

Im Freien und in dem feinen Licht zeigen die Alpenveilchen ihre ganze Schönheit!Gerade vor einigen Tagen habe ich sie im Garten bei Bekannten gesehen, hatte allerdings keine Kamera dabei.

Just great how you photographed these pretty cyclamen. I took a shot of a large patch of these blossoms in two tones of pink (in January at VanDusen Gardens). I was not happy with the results. Wonderful how these blossoms reflect the light and are so sharp!!!greetings, Adele
