democracy monument
Das Demokratiedenkmal in Bangkok steht auf einem Kreisverkehr auf einer großen Kreuzung der Thanon Ratchadamnoen-Klang. Es erinnert an den Militärputsch von 1932, der zur Einführung der konstitutionellen Monarchie führte.

Seit 79 Jahren gibt es also nun schon ein Denkmal der Demokratie ... vielleicht kommt die Demokratie selbst auch eines Tages nach Thailand? Hoffen wir's!Sehr schöne Nachtaufnahme.
