You would have had a far stronger shot if you had made it a few seconds earlier, just when the runner came around the bend.
Now your backround is far too obtrusive and the attention is too much drawn away from the runner.

I know, thanks for the advise. I posted this pic to show the autofocus capability of my new Olympus OM D....This Daniel Chebii was runnig very fast and my camera was on singleshot.
