the pleasure of having worked side by side all day, and then go home together – exhausted but happy –, because the hay harvest has been done! love how the two women in the back seem to enjoy the ride home like giggly little girls, chatting among themselves, and how one of them has hung her hat playfull across the wooden beam. and the one on top of the hay heap: so relaxed and happy looking – the epitome of health with her ruddy complexion, and still ready to smile for the photographer, despite all the hard work that's behind her… a great impression of rural life! full of joie de vivre, too! kind regards, sabine.
