the way i see it, piers like this exist for three reasons:1. stand and watch from the vantage point from which this was shot, 2. stand and watch from along the edges or the end, and 3. run like hell from the vantage point from which this was shot and take a flying leap of faith off the end, no watching allowed. the sea catches you and reveals your direction once you get there. what's that garth song? "choose to chance the rapids, dare to dance the tides..." whatever it is you're waiting for, forget the longing, watching and waiting, and just GO!! : )))

Das geht mir genauso, ohne Meer kann ich mir keinen Urlaub vorstellen, wollt als Kind schon immer zur See fahren und würde heute liebend gerne am Meer wohnen. Bei all meinen Irlandurlauben achte ich auch immer darauf, immer in der Nähe vom Meer mein Domizil zu haben. Die Aufnahme verstärkt diese Sehnsucht so richtig! Sehr schön so!lg irelandeddie

Die Seebrücke kenne ich doch..und ich habe das Glück, ganz in der Nähe zu wohnen.:-)
Die Sehnsucht kann ich verstehen, ein Leben nicht in der Nähe des Meeres, für mich undenkbar.
