hello everybody,
my name is kris. I grew up in germany - munich and bremen, where I studied architecture and design. for a while I lived in australia, before i decided to get married to my most wonderful husband, jan, and moved to the san francisco bay area.
I hope, you enjoy my work.
I feel more of a photo artist. often i think that it's a little sad that none of us is able to catch the beauty of reality, here on earth - ,because none of us is able to capture the other sensations. I always miss hearing the sounds and smelling the scents in the air, which is a very important part to me.
besides that I am a haptic person - so I miss feeling the surface of materials, the sun, the wind or the cold air.
nothing is as perfect as the real moment.
so, as an artist, I try to compose a feeling inside of the viewer of my photographs.
it would make me very happy and it would be a great pleasure for me to come to know your thoughts, while you view my photographs.

Hallo Kris, vielen Dank für deinen netten Kommentar; die Wave ist wirklich atemberaubend und bei vielen Amerikanern unbekannt ;-)
Ich beneide dich, du lebst in der wunderschönen Gegend, die ich schon 3mal besucht habe (zum hoffentlich nicht letztenmal im Mai 2008).
