I found this wonderful community while searching for abstract nature photos I might use on my new website, and needed to sign up to send emails. You've all inspired to take my photography more seriously, however! (This could get expensive, hmm...) I sold my SLR equipment years ago after tiring of lugging all those lenses on trips and now have just a Pentax Optio X which I bought, frankly, more for its fabulous design than its amazing technical specifications. I've been lazy enough that point, shoot, and Photoshop comprise my "technique," but I do appreciate the lovely work I've seen on this site and have a good eye for design, color, and composition in other aspects of my life, so maybe there's hope for me, yet!
