About me

I am an artist, Painter, Sculptor and a shutterbug. I feel in love with photography in college. I was moved by Man Ray, Divid Hamilton, John Rawlings, Helmut Newton and Horst. As a artist I am a surrealist but alway loved Glamour Photography. I love taking photos of city scapes and the female form.

Growing up I was always around others who were shutterbugs and it took me until I was in college before I got my first camera. My first camera I bought is a early 60s Nikkormat (one or the first models that came out) with a Nokkor 50mm 1:1.2 lense. When I got engaged to my the wonderful woman I married, she bought me a Nikon coolpix 4800. Now my wife and I both use a Nikon D300. I from time to time still use the 4800 and a a s550 coolpix along with the camera on our iPhones.

I am called to do more still life photography for products...

I want to thank you for welcoming to this online community of Photographers. I spent a few hours last night viewing all the absolutly wonderful photos that are on this site. I come to this community in awe of all this work. The point of view and subject matter of all the pictures I viewed are beautiful.
I am not new to the camera but I have taken many bad shots which I can never reproduce again in a more pleasing fashion. I hope to learn from what I see and read from this site.
    Thank you all,
    Peter Andolfi
