I'm English and I live near Bath in SW England. I'm 55 years old and I've had an amateur interest in photography since I was at school. It was one of my main interests for many years but I did eventually give it up. I think that I got fed up of spending a whole evening in a makeshift darkroom just to make one or two decent colour prints.
The availability of cheap digital cameras and affordable photo quality printers has got me started again. I have a Canon A590 camera and an HP Photosmart D7360 printer.
