I am a serious amateur with some professional gigs. I am most interested in candid portraits of people in social and professional settings. Faces are my favorite subject.
But recently I am having to try my hand at travel photography. You see my wife and I now travel together most of the time. She is not usually patient enough for me to set up a good shot. So I have been trying to find a way to shoot credible "slides" quickly with a minimum of equipment. I have been using a little Canon ELPH with some reasonable results. A friend says I should try a Canon G10.
The LCD generation of Large HDTV screens give me a way to show my pictures with some of the luminous effects I used to get from Kodachrome slides.
