As far as my photos are concerned, I am not necessarily looking for originality. I'm more interested in the aesthetics of a scene (by the way, an aesthetic photo does not necessarily show a beautiful subject, there are strong photos depicting ugly things).
Besides it will always bring back some memories, so, to me a picture will always mean something. At the very least because I simply was "there" and could embrace a whole view, only fragmentally captured by the picture. So my my goal is to bring back and convey as much as possible what I felt...
This taught me an lesson in photography that I deem important: sometimes you must stop shooting, and just use your eyes to contemplate. "Stop and smell the roses" they say. The fewer photos you'll have will then carry much more, at least for you.
Well, anyway that's what I think. You have the right to disagree :-)
