Photography intensifies my observation of the world by freezing a moment in time. Without my camera I am usually too busy to see the things around me. The way light flows over objects to reveal form, textures, and patterns fascinates me.
I seek to capture the essence of what I see and feel at a specific moment in time.
My choice for presenting my images is archival pigment ink prints. Control of the printing process allows me to recreate the subtle nuances of light and shadow I see when I make a photograph.
