I currently live on an island off the coast of WA state, but my heart is and always has been, in the mountains. I hope to one day live in western Montana.
As long as I can remember, I have wanted to learn the ins and outs of photography beyond just the "point and shoot" stage. A few weeks ago my husband surprised me by buying me my first digital SLR camera before we took a trip to Banff, Canada in the Canadian Rockies. Now I'm hooked and learning everything I possibly can. This site is very inspiring to me as I "travel" through the world by your photos. I look forward to learning from all of you.
