About me
A musician for most of my life, drums and vocals, I've been a photographer enthusiast since the mid 60's. I've still got my original Asahi Pentax 35mm w/ f1.4 50mm lense. I carry a Fuji f100fd with me wherever I go. I love "guerrilla" photography so the small camera is easiest for me. I'd love to get a DSLR and am thinking about a Nikon D700 with their 18-200 lens.
There are so many talented photographers now it is a wonderful pleasure to be able to view these pix on fotocommunity.
If I was a little younger I would consider doing photo journal work in the mid east and Israel. This time in human history is a turning point in the evolution of mankind. It is the most exciting, and sometimes very painful, time in modern history.
In spite of the growing pains we are experiencing as a race, the beauty of mankind and the world still shines through, which makes the juxtaposition even more compelling. Photography is a way for me to express myself in the midst of the chaos.
