Eine kleine Gruppe von Bad Kohlgruber Bürgerinnen und Bürgern - "die Kohlenbrenner" - haben es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, das alte Gewerbe der Köhler wieder aufleben zu lassen und nachfolgenden Generationen weiterzugeben.

There is a long tradition of charcoal production in and around the Bavarian spa town of Bad Kohlgrub. This sign is pointing to the annual re-creation of a charcoal. But I was too late to catch them in action.
