St Ethelburga's Bishopsgate Christian Church (ab. XIII - XV cent.)
Survived the Great Fire of London and the raids of the Second World War – It was destroyed in an IRA bombing attack in 1993 and subsequently faithfully rebuilt. Its architectural integration with the new surrounding buildings is symbolic of its new role as a Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, promoting interfaith dialogue and conflict resolution.

..the story behind that building is very interesting - a story told so often in this world of war and bitterness. Men try to rebuilt and to repair...for what reason? Only till the next destruction...Ciao, mia cara amica! Love, peace and kisses, Ansgar   Oh, I must think on the lyrics of a song: "..war, sister, is just a shot away....Love, sister, is just a kiss away..."

Even in childhood, we tend to break our toys; it seems that the urge to destroy is part of human nature, but the same goes for the urge to rebuild. Germany was razed to the ground by the Allies and then rebuilt from scratch, even more beautiful than before. If that hadn’t been done, you’d be living amongst the rubble today... Instead, Berlin is a wonderful city once again, as are Cologne, Stuttgart and your own little town.  CIAo my dear, be happy please:  life is short!
      Peace and kiss!
