Woodland Calm - No.2 (Infrared)
This scene of woodland tranquility on a summer afternoon in the Patapsco Valley
of central Maryland was captured on Kodak HIE Infrared Black and White film.
It was shot through a dark red filter on a Canon 35-80mm EF lens, at its wide end, on my EOS-RT.
It is part of a new portfolio of infrared black and white film images in sylvan settings.
Each will be available as a custom printed note card and in gallery prints.

At the first moment I was convinced it would be a wonderful winter scene !!Then I read that it is infrared ....
However it is a phantastic impression !!

At first glance I thought it was a Winter scene as it had a very refreshing impact on me, while I am sitting in 90 degree sweltering Heat; and then I read that you had used a red filter. I like the "light" that it created.~ GiCarlo.Pollaci 04/09/2014 22:19
