If you look at "Witcombe looking South west" photo you'll notice a small fenced area.
This is no more than 50 yards from here, and in between is a brook.

The fenced off area is a bog fed by springs, which leads to here via a brook, where it goes back underground.

This is part of the system that then feeds Tinkers Bubble, which is a spring coming from the side of a hill.
Now Tinkers Bubble has become internationally famous as an eco village homestead
