I was leaning in to capture this big spider web when my friend very helpfully said "watchoutthere'sthespider!!!!!!!" I very nearly dropped my camera as I ran away!

    oh wow, the rain rewarded you for all your endurance and patience after all!! ; )) what a beautiful natural work of art and capture of it!! i bet the spider, too, is quite fascinated with what the rain did to his web – maybe that's why he's sticking one hairy leg out the funnel of his fortress to pose as proud home owner and wave into the lense. just kidding, sally! i think it's just a piece of dry plant i'm seeing… hugs, sabine.
