Wat Lamduan in Chang Wat Nong Khai
This temple located on Rim Khong Alley, the road along the Mekong river, is particularly known for its large sitting Buddha statue that sits on the roof. It can be reached by a staircase usually open during the day. From this place we discovered a panoramic view over the Mekong river to Laos and a view over Nong Khai city.
