Great view. I like mountains too. Could be "mer de glace" near Chamonix at the Mont Blanc massive. There is a cog railway bringing tourists to that place where you were if I'm right.Regards Herby

Dear Lucy,We started our excursion from Megeve. Our way on the road was in the North-East direction (about an hour by car). After that we used the mountain train to reach this place. I am sorry but I don't know the name of this big glacier and the mountains. Perhaps, my description is sufficient for you to identify this place:)

These are all beautiful pictures, without exception. Well done! As I also love mountains I'm always curious to know, where exactly a photo was taken. "the Alps" is a bit vague :-)Regards
