Vancouver Living - on the street where I live ...

yesterday's view through the window and sitting at my computer … it snowed all night, something the city is not used to, and all schools and universities were closed and most people stayed at home :-)) Sun today, rain tomorrow, a mess will follow.
p.s. my little white Honda is buried in the snow on the left bottom of the picture :-))

Great. We don't have snow at all. Even lower mountain ranges like the "Sauerland" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sauerland) are nowadays without snow. I am already happy about some hoarfrost for pictures.

  Hi Adele, thanks for your answer. I am really wondering that wikipedia.org doesn't work "over there". Next time I have to donate a bit more money :-) and tell that is for Canada :-) (In fact I am really giving wikipedia small amounts of money when they collect).
  
  Interesting to know that you lived in Germany for a while. I don't know how to ski. I never learned it. And it is years ago that I visited Winterberg the last time. I don't have a car (appreciate your snow covered little Honda) and therefore use public transport. And the train connection to Winterberg is available but time consuming and pretty expensive. I live in "Lünen" in the north of Dortmund. So I need to take the bus to go to the railway station, than I travel with the train to Dortmund. Than I am taking the train to Winterberg. And than I need to go to the mountains which probably means taking another bus. And return the same procedure.
  
  Therefore I have only few picture with hoarfrost which I really appreciate. By the way, is the word "white frost" or "hoarfrost" better for my frost covered plants?

J'adore la neige et cette vue sur la rue, les arbres et les maisons couvertes de neige fraîche qui tient bien est pour moi un réel plaisir ; Les 2 petits promeneurs apportent un signe de vie dans ce silence ; J'espère que tu retrouveras ta Honda que je vois bien moi .
