Well Dana, there are those that do and those that don't.
A beautiful and picturesque picture, wonderfully composed.
The plant in the background is amazing, in the manner it has drooped due to the weight.
I love it!!!

You've wounderful scenery over there.
It's pity that I never made it to NewOrleans - whereas I'v seen quite a lot from the States during my job where I worked with your AirForce.
One critic to the photo -
I'd suggest you either show the whole bridge - or leave those corners on the left and right top and lead the view only through the garden under the bridge (by kneeing or even laying down for taking the photo ;-) .. Those corners seek - unnecessarily - for attention.
Oh, can you stop that the date is shown on your pics?
I see on the right bottom the top of the former date.
