Touring through Tasmanian forest

There is muc to discover on the island of Tasmania with its only 90,758 km2 and the population of 541,071 people. Over 800,000 hectares of untouched forest and native vegetation that the Tassi people work together to protect.
My photo shows a car stopover in the middle of the road through the forest.

Die Straße sieht ja recht gut aus und viel Verkehr scheint nicht zu sein. Da macht dann so eine Fahrt Laune und ein Fotostop erst recht.

  Die Fahrt durch den meschenleeren subtropischen Regenwald ist ein Genuss, aber auch mit Vorsicht zu besehen. Immer dann, wenn man es gar nicht erwartet, begegnet einem ein dicker Brummer an der engsten Stelle. Aber der Verkehr auf der Insel gilt als sehr höflich und diszipliniert, was ich auf Tasmanien und auf dem australischen Festland bei mehr als 6.000 km in positiver Erinnerung behalten konnte, Gruß Wolfgang
