Dieser reastaurierte Wattensegler (Tjalk) ist ein Museumsschiff aus Elisabethfehn.
Das komische Paddel ist ein Seitenschwert und dient der Stabilität des Schiffes, um eine Abdrift bei Seitenwind zu verhindern.
Die Aufnahme entstand auf einer für den Nordwesten Deutschlands und Holland so typischen Fehnbrücke:

Die Aufnahme strahlt sommerliche Stille aus. Diese "Paddel" fand ich auch immer kurios. Ich glaube, man nennt diese Schiffe auch Plattbodenschiffe, weil sie ohne Kiel auskommen müssen.LG Bernd
