The treck up to Namgyal Gompa
The Gompa is located on steep eroded hilltop above cultivated fields. Its a one day track from Mustang city with amazing panorama vistas till the border to Tibet.
The welcome at this monastery was a serious attack by a Mastiff watch dog, only the abbey cut get it under control.
The slide photo is scanned by a Nikon CoolScan 5000 ED from Kodachrome 50.
