at 6:20 in the early evening and surrounded by an orange sky caused by the smoke .... again picturesque and great for the camera ... but a scary sight ... taken at Little Shuswap Lake with one of three fires about 70 km away.
No editing ...

Même le soleil est voilé par la fumée. Pourvu que tous ces incendies s'arrêtent. C'est un désastre écologique.

Oh, da warst du ja schon ziemlich früh unterwegs. Aber es hat sich für dich absolut gelohnt, denn dein morgendliches Sonnenaufgangsbild ist ein herrliches Highlight, das mir fabelhaft gefällt. Klasse Farben und Licht !!!

According to our information, there is also the same phenomenon in Quebec as far as Newfoundland. There are also major fires in southern Europe (Turkey, Greece) while Germany and Belgium have experienced deadly floods this month as has China. What is this planet? It's the world turned upside down. Chris.

  thank you, Christiane, ;and yes, you are very right .... our province as well as the Western United States have wildfires every Summer, but this time it is so early with our heat and draught which is unusual - that same heat is in Eastern Canada and parts of Europe, and lightning starts the fires .... on top of that are the floods - revenge of Mother Nature ???
