The Sent One
Amazing: Though Jesus Christ is not visibly present among us, he has his sent ones. They stand for him and proclain his good news, the Gospel. The sculpture shows that the one sent by God has to listen to him and transmit faithfully what he says in his written word, the Bible, which he holds in his left hand. He has to have an open ear also for those to whom he is sent.
